I took the "Midnight in the Garden in Good and Evil" book tour with Angela this past August. I took a one-day trip to Savannah from Charleston, primarily for this tour. It was completely worth it! I was traveling alone and had never been to Savannah before. Angela made me feel extremely welcome. She's very informative, personable and has great suggestions (the Olde Pink House restaurant!). I felt like I learned a lot about Savannah itself from this tour, in addition to seeing places where the book/movie were set. The highlight of the tour for me was Bonaventure Cemetery and learning about Jim Williams' restoration of buildings in Savannah. Don't hesitate to take a tour with Savannah Heritage Tours, even if you are in Savannah a short time. Angela is a fantastic guide!

My husband and I visited Savannah at the end of August. Out of all the tours and walks we took during our stay, Angela was by far our most informative, helpful, and gracious guide. (We took her Book Tour, but I believe that any offering of hers would be excellent.) As far as the city is concerned, she knows everyone and everything. Her touring vehicle is enclosed, air conditioned, and spotless, with full seats and not just a bench. It's perfect if you're hot, need your space, or are just worn out from traveling. Angela, I've sent along a little thank-you gift--say hi to Gracie for me!

Kim, thank you so much for your very kind words and the wonderful gift which I received today.

For those of you reading the comment page, I volunteered to clean Garcie Watson's gravesite at Bonaventure Cemetery and I mentioned this while doing a tour. Kim was on that tour and volunteered to help. I was embarrassed by the condition of my gardening tools, in fact, the handle on the rake broke in half and the hedge clippers were rusted. Kim sent me the most impressive hedge clippers I have ever seen and they will be used only for Gracie. Thanks so much Kim.

My friends and I had the best time in Savannah and Tybee! Part of this great experience was having Angela as our guide. She gave us a tour of the historic district and then Bonaventure Cemetery. Later that day we were able to go to the Lady and Sons because she made our reservations for us and it was great
food. Because of a thunder storm, we weren't able to leave the restaurant, but Angela had my phone number and called to see if we were okay and then came to pick us up at the restaurant to take us back to our hotel. We were so thankful for her thoughtfulness and going out of her way to make sure we were alright. Thanks for everything.

My friend and I had Angela take us on a tour of Bonaventure Cemetery and it was our favorite tour of our trip to Savannah!! We lucked out having Angela all to ourselves and we enjoyed every minute of not only the tour but getting to know Angela. Angela is so informative about everything from the town to the cemetery, which she shared with us as we drove from our hotel to the cemetery and back again! If I wasn't sure about moving to Savannah before her tour, she definitely convinced me that Savannah is the place for me! I just can't express how fabulous the tour is and it is made even better having Anglea as your guide!! Thanks again for everything Angela!!

We just took the tour today. It was wonderful. Angela shared so much information about Savannah, her people, and of course, the book. She has a great sense of humor, and knows so many of the locals. She took the time to answer all questions, and even stopped the van to let me out to take several pictures. This is THE tour to take if you are coming to Savannah. She knows the story well and points out both the homes used in the movie, and also the actual sights if the movie used a different facade. This was the highlight of our visit to Savannah.

We just returned from our visit to Savannah and had a great time seeing this beautiful. Angela took us on a wonderful tour giving us a little history, some of "The Book" tour and then a tour of Bonaventure cemetery. This was the best tour ever and we just can't thank her enough for a great time.

Angela is genuinely a very nice person and knows EVERYTHING (including all the good gossip) about Savannah. It was just the three of us that night, so she really went out of her way to focus on what we wanted to know and questions we had. It was delightful from start to finish, as was she. As we were talking she kept including more places of interest that she thought we would like, and we never felt like she had one eye on the clock. I just can't recommend her highly enough. There may be other ghost tour guides available in Savannah, but Angela simply just CANNOT BE BEAT! She offers a number of other tours and we will definitely be calling her during our next trip to Savannah.

Angela:

Just wanted to let you know again how appreciative we are of your hospitality and knowledge. Your attention to detail and kindness made our trip. The tour we took with you was by far the best of the 5 we took while in Savannah on our Honeymoon. I spent Saturday evening raving about you all over the City Market and handing out your phone number.

You will always have friends in Myrtle Beach!

Remember that mad British gang you had a few weeks ago? We certainly remember you - and had a fabulous few hours with you ending-up in Mrs Wilkes for a fantastic lunch. Thank you for a great tour!

Thank you for being such a wonderful person! Jimmy and I had such a
great time with you. It was so kind of you to take us on our own
"personal" book tour on the last day of our stay in Savannah (June
25th). Meeting you was definitely the highlight of our trip. We are coming back in March and hope to see you then.

We had been planning our trip to Savannah for sometime and then we got in touch with Angela and she made all of our reservations and once we arrived, we enjoyed having her show us Savannah. We had a great time and plan on coming back. Angela, thanks so much for the tour of Savannah and Bonaventure.

I had the opportunity to take the book tour about five years ago but my wife (Sandy) wasn't with me on that business trip. I was sure she would love the city as spontaneously as I did. So, when we visited during the week of September 17, 2007, I wanted to make sure she took the book tour also.

Our tour guide was Angela and what a wonderful, delightful, personable, knowledgeable and instructive guide she is. The tour was conducted in a 10 person van so there was also the close physical connection.

Angela! She's a one-person tour guide to anything and everything in Savannah. Her contact number is 912 224 8365.

Plus, the charge for the tour is outrageously inexpensive. We're sending her some Bourbon Balls from Kentucky as an additional way of saying thanks to her!
